John joins Skye Medical from August 2023 as a Registered Psychologist.
He runs Grow Well Psychological Services which, up until now, has operated mainly in the northern Perth suburbs.

John has been practicing since 1992 and is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Formerly John has worked with the Education Department in rural and metro areas where he’s developed a wide range of skills for assisting students from 4 to 17 years of age as well as their parents and teachers.

 

John utilizes different modalities with his care including:
– hypnotherapy
– behavioral modification and cognitive-behavioral therapy
– schema based and metacognitive interpersonal therapy
– counselling interventions

He is adept at dealing with conditions such as:
– pain management
– unresolved grief
– complex trauma
– stress reduction/management
– depression
– anxiety / panic disorder

John has private fees from $190 per hour.
With a GP referral and mental health care plan, Medicare rebates of nearly $93 are available.

Initial appointments are booked for 90 minutes with follow up appointments for 60 minutes.
