The Western Australian Government released funding for flu vaccines for all patients during May – not just the most at risk population. We’re delighted to hear that this has been extended during June so that patients who are still wanting to receive their vaccine have extra time to do so.

Patients who are considered to be most at risk should they catch influenza are those aged over 65, under 12, expectant mothers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and patients with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma and heart disease.
